Digital Desk: A fast moving deadly wildfire that erupted in the Joyguru hills of Amingaon, Guwahati on March 18, engulfed the Bathou temple area and burnt two houses. The massive fire also destroyed an old plastic dump in the region.

Responding swiftly to contain the massive fire, firefighters and police teams rushed to the site. The authorities are working tirelessly to control the flames at the Joyguru hills.

However, the firefighters are struggling to douse the flame as the fire is spreading uncontrollably in the region, posing a threat to the people of nearby areas, the environment, and wildlife. Despite all the efforts, the wildfire continues to burn in the hilly area.
