The president of the Dibrugarh District Minority Morcha, Rahan Ahmed handed over the e-rickshaws in the presence of ward councillor Srimanta Baruah, and several others.

Digital Desk: Assam Minorities Development Board on February 21, distributed seven e-rickshaws near the District Development office in Dibrugarh as part of the board's initiative for the fiscal year 2023-24. This initiative aims to offer minority communities resources and financial support.

The president of the Dibrugarh District Minority Morcha, Rahan Ahmed handed over the e-rickshaws in the presence of ward councillor Srimanta Baruah, and several others.

Meanwhile, the Sonitpur District Administration organised a ceremonial distribution at the District Commissioner office where 56 government-recognized journalists received tokens of appreciation from the Assam Chief Minister.

The event was presided over by District Commissioner Ankur Bharali, with the inaugural address by District Information & Public Relations Officer Ankita Gogoi.  

26 government-recognized journalists from Kokrajhar district also received goodwill gifts at the District Commissioner's conference hall. The gifts were sent by Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma.
