He stated that a team of specialised doctors from various departments at Nemcare Hospital was actively providing medical care to Zubeen Garg.
Dr. Baruah highlighted that while multiple medications were prescribed, one specific epilepsy medicine was mandatory and needed to be taken regularly.
He revealed that Nemcare Hospital authorities had clearly informed Zubeen Garg's family, manager, and those accompanying him to ensure he avoided water, fire, and adhered to other necessary precautions.
Dr. Baruah highlighted several critical lapses, stating that the first mistake was taking Zubeen Garg abroad, the second was bringing him to the sea, the third was permitting him to swim in the sea, and the fourth was failing to monitor him adequately during these activities.
He emphasized that these errors require thorough investigation and fair evaluation.
Furthermore, he noted that during the SIT meeting, participants strongly urged for a prompt investigation and appropriate punishment for those found guilty.
