Digital Desk: A horrific road accident took place in Agomoni’s Halakura, claiming the life of an eight-month pregnant woman, identified as Liza Tiyor, who died on the spot.


The collision also left three others- Subhajit Saha, Anjali Majhi and Dilip Bin, seriously injured.


All three injured have been shifted to the Dhubri Medical College for treatment.


The injured individuals, along with the deceased, were residents of Dhubri’s Palpara.


They were travelling from Dhubri to Alipurduar Rail Station via NH-17.


From Alipurduar, Liza Tiyor had planned to take a train to visit her maternal uncle.


The accident occurred due to a head-on collision between a four-wheeler, bearing registration number AS 01 BD 4131, and a truck with registration number WB 57 D 9983.
