Digital Desk: The Assam Police paid their last respects to legendary footballer Gilbertson Sangma at the 10th Assam Police Battalion (APBN) in Kahilipara, Guwahati.
Many admirers and well-wishers gathered to honour the sporting icon, who had been a strong pillar of the Assam Police football team for years.
Sangma, who also served the Assam Police with dedication before retiring, was paid tribute in the presence of Director General of Police (DGP) Harmeet Singh.
He was given full police honours as the community bid an emotional farewell.
