Digital Desk: Tragedy has struck the Mandakata Commando Battalion camp following the death of a female trainee commando by suicide.
The deceased has been identified as Aparna Pandit, a resident of Bokajan in Karbi Anglong district.
While the exact motive behind the act remains a mystery, preliminary reports indicate that a suicide note was recovered near her body.
It is believed that she had been under severe mental stress prior to the incident.
Following the completion of necessary formalities, her mortal remains were sent to her home.
