  • Hatigaon police have apprehended four Afghan nationals residing illegally in India

Digital Desk: Hatigaon police have apprehended four Afghan nationals residing illegally in India.


The arrests were made following a raid on a rented house near Little Flower School in Hatigaon.


The individuals, identified as Amon Khan, Rizwan Khan, Yousuf Jahid, and Asif Rana, were found without valid documentation permitting their stay in the country.


During the operation, authorities seized several objectionable documents from the suspects.


Investigation revealed that the four had been living in Assam since 2015 and were engaged in a money lending business while residing in Guwahati.


A case has been registered against the Afghan nationals under case number 112/25.


Hatigaon police are actively continuing their investigation to uncover further details.
