Digital Desk: A woman and her 7-year-old son have been reported missing from Silkibar Kanfootapar under the jurisdiction of Goreswar police station in Tamulpur district. The mother-son duo disappeared on June 16 around 6 PM.
A missing persons report was filed at the Goreswar police station on the same day.
However, the woman's husband, Binay Rajbangshi, has claimed that no substantial action has been taken by the police so far.
According to Binay, his wife, Bhanita Das, and their son had gone shopping with a young man named Nayan Das, who is from Makundapur village under Baihata Chariali police station.
Despite extensive searches conducted by Binay, no trace of his wife and son has been found.
It has also been reported that the young man, Nayan Das, who accompanied the woman and her son on the day they went missing, is himself untraceable.
The family has urged everyone with information about their whereabouts to contact 6900592682 or 6900783491 or inform the nearest police station.
