The illegally stored kerosene trading was reportedly running for a long time without proper documents or government approval.

Digital Desk: In a major crackdown on illegal activities in the state capital, the Assam police in a joint operation with the Railway Protection Force (RPF) seized a huge quantity of approximately 1,200 litres of kerosene on February 17. A CGPD team from Chandmari Police Station raided a bamboo shack at Bamunimaidam Railway Colony, Kalipur, and uncovered an illegal kerosene trading operation.

The illegally stored kerosene trading was reportedly running for a long time without proper documents or government approval.

Authorities are investigating the seizure of illegal storage at Quarter No. 812 of Bamunimaidam Railway Colony.
