As per report, the incident took place following an attack by a wild elephant. 

Digital Desk: In a tragic incident, an elderly woman (78) was trampled to death by a wild elephant at Katha Chema village near Jagun, along the Assam-Arunachal border.

The deceased woman was identified as Shobha Tamang. She was a resident of Jairampur of Arunachal Pradesh.

As per report, the incident took place following an attack by a wild elephant. 

The woman had been visiting her relatives in Katha Chema village when the incident occurred. 

The horrific incident led to chaos in the area, with locals demanding immediate measures to prevent human-elephant conflict in the area. 

Authorities have reached the site and examining the situation.
