The sources informed that all attempts by Pakistan to escalate tensions in the border states, Jammu and Kashmir, Punjab, Rajasthan, and Gujarat, were unsuccessful.

Digital Desk: Amid rising tensions between India and Pakistan, sources have confirmed that all the missiles fired by the neighbouring country were intercepted and neutralised, destroying all the missiles fired by Pakistan and shooting them down.

The sources informed that all attempts by Pakistan to escalate tensions in the border states, Jammu and Kashmir, Punjab, Rajasthan, and Gujarat, were unsuccessful.

India responded to Pakistani missile strikes with the Integrated Counter-Unmanned Aerial System (UAS) Grid, S-400 Triumf systems, Barak-8 missiles, Akash Surface-to-Air Missiles, and DRDO's anti-drone technologies to create a firm aerial shield.

Indian armed forces have also destroyed a Chinese-supplied HQ-99 air defence unit in Lahore and damaged key radar infrastructure.

According to sources, the Narendra Modi government has been upgrading India's air defence architecture since 2014. This includes five 400 Triumf squadrons worth Rs 35,000 crore in 2018. Three of these squadrons are operational along the China and Pakistan borders.

A deal worth Rs 2.5 billion dollars was signed by India for the deployment of Barak-8 Medium-Range Surface-to-Air Missiles (MR-SAM) with Israel, which is operational in frontline bases like Bhatinda.

India also focused on developing indigenously made Akash missile batteries and DRDO-developed counter-drone systems.

Loitering Munitions or suicide drones, used by India during 'Operation Sindoor', were manufactured in India's Bengaluru, striking Pakistan in multiple terror infrastructures.

Sources also confirmed that Harop drones, originally from Israel, are now built in India, and have been used to destroy air defence assets in Karachi and Lahore.

Meanwhile, some Pakistani citizens have also started questioning their military capabilities, asking whether it could defend itself.

As per report, India launched 24 missile attacks on Pakistan, successfully hitting all the targets. Pakistan failed miserably to intercept a single missile attack launched from Indian soil.

National media also reported on May 8 that the Indian army had captured two Pakistan Air Force pilots after the Indian Air Defence system shot down two Pakistani fighter jets.
