She was renamed Fatima after converting to Islam and got married to Nasrullah in Pakistan...

Digital Desk: A 34-year-old Indian mother of two, who travelled to a remote village in Pakistan's Khyber Pakhtunkhwa to marry her Facebook friend, will return home after clearance from the Pakistani government, her Pakistani husband said. In August, Pakistan extended her visa by a year.

She was renamed Fatima after converting to Islam and got married to Nasrullah in Pakistan.

"We are waiting for the No-Objection Certificate (NOC) from the interior ministry in Islamabad for which we have already applied. The process is a bit lengthy and takes time," Nasrullah her husband told news agency PTI.

He stated that Anju would visit India as the documents were completed for her travel across the Wagah Border and that she would return to Pakistan once she had a chance to meet her children.

"She will surely come back as India is her home now," he added.

Anju was allegedly "mentally disturbed and badly missing" her two children last month, according to Nasrullah.

Anju got married to her 29-year-old Facebook friend Nasrullah on July 25, 2023. Nasrullah lives in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa's Upper Dir district. In 2019, they connected on Facebook.

Anju was earlier married to Arvind, who hails from Rajasthan. Their son is six years old, and their daughter is fifteen years old.
