Digital Desk: In a shocking incident, four miscreants attempted to kidnap a 7-year-old child at Bhawanipur's East Luwashur area of Bajali on April 18. However, the attempt failed as the victim escaped the scene. The entire incident was captured on a CCTV camera.
In the video, four unidentified men arrived on two motorcycles while the child was riding a bicycle in the East Luwashur area.
The suspected kidnappers tried to abduct the child. But he escaped and took shelter in a house.
The victim's father Mokibul Ali complained to the Bhawanipur Police Station on the day of the incident.
However, Mokibul alleged that instead of taking any action against the perpetrators, the Bhawanipur police repeatedly summoned him to the police station and harassed him.
Mokibul Ali has now requested the Bajali Superintendent of Police to intervene in the matter.
