Digital Desk: A tragic incident has taken place on the Seujpur Namghar road in Dakshingaon of Guwahati.
A 38-year-old man, identified as Bikram Sonowal, had been visiting his father-in-law's house in Dakshingaon, Kahilipara, when the miserable incident occurred.
Bikram, a resident of Mathghoria, Guwahati, reportedly died after falling into a well at his father-in-law's house.
Around 11 pm, Bikram Sonowal went near a well, where he slipped and fell.
The prompt efforts of the National Disaster Response Force (NDRF) and the State Disaster Response Force (SDRF) managed to rescue him in a serious condition.
However, he was declared dead by the doctors upon arrival at Gauhati Medical College and Hospital (GMCH).
Sonowal's untimely death has left his family in deep shock.
