As per reports, the drugs were smuggled from Mizoram's Aizawl to be distributed in different parts of Assam.

Digital Desk: In a major drug haul, Cachar Police seized 66,000 YABA tablets worth Rs 20 crore from a house in the Bhaga area near the Assam-Mizoram border.

Acting on a tip-off, a Cachar Police team raided the residence of Md Dil Bahar of Raj Gobindpur in the early hours of Wednesday. During the search operation, the police team seized the drugs concealed in the ceiling of the house. Superintendent of Police(SP) of Cachar district Numal Mahatta confirmed the news.

As per reports, the drugs were smuggled from Mizoram's Aizawl to be distributed in different parts of Assam. Cachar Police have launched a probe to identify whether more people are involved in the drug smuggling.

Police have arrested Md Dil Bahar for his involvement in smuggling.
