Digital Desk: There is a growing demand for train stoppage at the Changsari Railway Station as the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), Guwahati becomes functional. The public is now demanding a one-minute stoppage of key trains at the station to ensure accessibility of the patients who visit from different districts of Assam for treatment at the AIIMS.

Changsari is rapidly growing as an education hub, with major institutions like the Central Institute of Petrochemicals Engineering & Technology (CIPET), the Dr Bhupen Hazarika Regional Government Film & Television Institute, private companies, and various schools and colleges. This brief halt at the Changsari Railway Station will ease the students' journey, reduce travel time, and their daily expenses.
