He has previously been arrested in two separate cases involving theft and kidnapping.

Digital Desk: The CID achieved significant progress in the Class 11 Maths paper leak investigation (CID PS Case No. 06/25 under Sections 61(2)/334(2)/112(2)/318(4)/316(5)) when they arrested Mohammad Ashique. The 26-year-old medical student from  Nagaon Medical College.

Through trail of UPI bank records and transactions along with student's statement, investigators, CID and detectives arrested Ashique, son of Sheikh Mohammad Nasiruddin, as the one responsible for leaking questions for a price. Nasiruddin also worked at the Bagariguri Advanced Academy in Nagaon. As one of his multiple jobs, Ashique served part-time teacher in this educational institution.

He was produced in court today and has been remanded to police custody for further interrogation.
It is noteworthy that Ashique has a prior history with arrest records in two different criminal cases for theft with kidnapping charges. His involvement in this academic scandal has intensified worries about educational system as well as the impact of known offenders on academic integrity.
