Digital Desk: A sudden fire engulfed an enormous 150-year-old tree in Howly, caught everyone’s attention, and generated public alarm and interest in the area. The incident occurred within Ward No. 6 of Ambari, right behind Himangshu Nath's house. Residents were left in shock while they tried to understand what caused the fire to start in the upper regions of the tree.
According to the tree trainer, his family members had used fire to burn dry leaves, which were located far from the tree base. However, the fire mysteriously started on the upper tree branches, although the fire avoided reaching the trunk. The unusual incident generated puzzlement among residents of Howly as well as everyone in the affected family, forcing them all to investigate the cause.
As news of the fire spread, the emergency responders dispatched the fire department, which sent a fire fighters to the location. Due to the restricted entrance, the emergency crew needed to abandon their effort of intervention. Everyone was shocked to find out that the fire ceased on its own without anyone external intervention.
