Digital Desk: The Government Railway Police (GRP) conducted a drug trafficking operation, which resulted in capturing 22 cannabis (ganja) packages weighing 24.150 kg from passengers that boarded  Train No. 12423 DL New Delhi Rajdhani Express at Guwahati Railway Station. The contraband was found in the possession of two male passengers traveling in Coach No. A4

 The arrested culprits were identified as  Sezo Puro (26) whose father, Lavohu Puro resides in Dimapur, Nagaland, and Bolen Haokip who is the son of the late L. Haokip from Imphal, Manipur. The authorities conducted their search based on an intelligence report that resulted in a major seizure.

This incident highlights the continued vigilance of law enforcement agencies in curbing illegal drug transportation through railway routes. Law enforcement has custody of the individuals under investigation while conducting additional studies to determine the starting location and ending destination of the seized drugs.
