Digital Desk: Two-time Olympic medallist Neeraj Chopra made history at the Doha Diamond League 2025, becoming the first Indian to breach the 90-metre mark in international competition.

Despite his personal best, he secured second place with a 90.23 m throw. Germany's Julian Weber won gold with a throw of 91.06 m.

Wishes and congratulatory messages are now pouring in for the track and field athlete after he breached the 90m mark.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi congratulated Neeraj after his monstrous 90.23m throw at the Doha Diamond League.

Taking to X, PM Modi praised Chopra's relentless dedication, discipline, and passion. India is elated and proud, PM Modi added.

Union Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan also praised him for his achievement, congratulating the 'Golden Boy' on his historic success and wishing him a bright future.

After the competition, Chopra shared his mixed feelings about the result. He said he was happy with the 90m, but expressed dissatisfaction for securing second position.
