New Delhi: Purchase of sim cards by minors from any telecom industry under the age of 18 is banned in the country, said the Department of Telecommunication (DoT).

As per the reports, to acquire a sim card, a person has to fill the Customer Acquisition Form (CAF), a legal contract between the customer and telecom service provider (TSP).
