Digital Desk: Under the leadership of Dhing police officer Biren Kumar Kalita, the Dhing Police continues their relentless crackdown on illegal cattle smuggling operations.


In a series of successful operations over the past few days, the team seized hundreds of cattle, several vehicles, and arrested multiple individuals linked to the smuggling network.


Those apprehended have been remanded to judicial custody.


Acting on a tip-off last night, Dhing police successfully intercepted two vehicles loaded with smuggled cattle near Chalkati in Dhing.


The operation resulted in the seizure of four cows and one buffalo. 


During the raid, the police detained Hafizur Rahman, a young man from Arulkata, Gorukhuti in Moirabari, who was involved in the illegal activity.


However, another suspect managed to escape under the cover of darkness, abandoning the vehicle.


An investigation is underway to identify and apprehend others associated with this illegal cattle smuggling network.
