Digital Desk: An Assamese woman, identified as Daizan Bibi, has been imprisoned in Bangladesh for the past four months. A resident of Noidar village in Gauripur, Dhubri, she is currently held in Mymensingh Jail in Bangladesh.

Last year, under the pretext of foreigner deportation, several individuals were reportedly forced into Bangladesh.

While many of them, primarily from a specific community, managed to return to India, Daizan Bibi, a mother of two, remains in custody in Bangladeshi.

Her family is deeply worried as they have been unable to establish contact with her.

Allegations suggest that the Dhubri Police administration deceitfully took her away and sent her across the border to Bangladesh.

Her husband, Abdur Rezzaq, is under immense emotional strain, having had no communication with his wife for the past four months.

Local community leaders have expressed deep concern over the situation and have urged the government to take immediate action to ensure Daizan Bibi's safe return to her homeland.
