A total of 4,45,586 voters will cast their ballots in this election.

Digital Desk: The voting day for Rabha Hasong Autonomous Council (RHAC) elections will take place tomorrow, on 2nd  April. The voting period spans is from 7 AM to 3 PM throughout the 36 constituencies. The elections encompass twenty constituencies belonging to Goalpara district, together with sixteen constituencies situated within Kamrup district.

 In this election, a total of  4,45,586 voters will cast their votes. The voting procedure is nearly complete while election staff and officials have begun their journey to the assigned polling station. 

The election nomination period began on 15th March. A number of distinguished political figures have been actively involved in leading the electoral campaigns. Out of the 46 available seats, the BJP has chosen to contest six, whereas the Rabha Hasong Joint Forum participates in thirty seats.

Out of the 36 constituencies,
25 are reserved for tribal communities
6 are reserved for women
11 are unreserved
Election voting will unfold at 630 designated polling stations before 4th  April marks the day for vote counting.
