Digital Desk: In the early hours of Friday, three earthquakes were felt in Rajasthan's Jaipur. The three tremors were felt within 30 minutes, according to the National Centre for Seismology (NCS).


The most recent 3.4 magnitude earthquake occurred at 4.25 a.m. at a depth of 10 km.



National Centre for Seismology (NCS) posted about the earthquake details stating, "Earthquake of Magnitude:4.4, Occurred on 21-07-2023, 04:09:38 IST, Lat: 26.88 & Long: 75.70, Depth: 10 Km, Location: Jaipur, Rajasthan, India."

An earthquake of magnitude 3.1 was felt earlier at 4.22 a.m. at a depth of 5 km.


The initial tremor was felt at 4.09 a.m. at a depth of 10 km.


"Earthquake of Magnitude:4.4, Occurred on 21-07-2023, 04:09:38 IST, Lat: 26.88 & Long: 75.70, Depth: 10 Km, Location: Jaipur, Rajasthan, India," the NCS said.


Panicked residents fled their homes as earthquakes were detected around the city. There were no reports of deaths or property damage as a result of the earthquake shocks.


Following the tremors, some social media users tweeted photos of people standing outside their buildings. A video posted by news agency ANI showed a street being slammed by an earthquake.


Meanwhile, former Rajasthan CM Vasundhara Raje, tweeted, "I hope you are all safe!" She also reported severe tremors in Jaipur.
