Following the negotiation, Trump issued the last warning to the militant group to release the remaining hostages and dead bodies or "it is over" for them.

Digital Desk: US President Donald Trump issued an ultimatum to Hamas, a militant group occupying Gaza-strip, to release all the hostages and return the dead bodies of the people murdered by them.

The White House confirmed on March 5 that it negotiated directly with the Hamas group, which was a move contrary to the US tradition of not holding any discussions with terrorist groups.

Following the negotiation, Trump issued the last warning to the militant group to release the remaining hostages and dead bodies or "it is over" for them.

Taking to X, Trump posted, "Shalom Hamas' means Hello and Goodbye-You can choose. Release all of the Hostages now, not later, and immediately return all of the dead bodies of the people you murdered, or it is OVER for you. Only sick and twisted people keep bodies, and you are sick and twisted! I am sending Israel everything it needs to finish the job, not a single Hamas member will be safe if you don't do as I say."

White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt announced that Trump met eight of the hostages released by Hamas and spoke to them. The officials of the US and Hamas also held a discussion in Doha, Qatar regarding the hostages in the Gaza Strip.

Issuing a statement, Israel Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's office said, "Israel has expressed to the United States its position regarding direct talks with Hamas."
