Digital Desk: The Singapore Police has submitted the post-mortem report regarding the death of Assam's cultural icon Zubeen Garg, confirming that the cause of death was drowning.

The findings have sparked significant public interest and sensation within Singapore as well.

In the light of the report, Nico Lee, Founder and Managing Director of Triangle Legal LLC, has raised allegations of negligence against the yacht's captain and crew.

The Singapore-based lawyer emphasised that permitting an intoxicated individual to board a yacht is a direct violation of established port regulations.

According to prior testimonies provided to the police and the Coroner's Court, the captain admitted that Zubeen Garg had consumed alcohol before the yacht party and continued to drink once on board.

Questions have been raised why the captain allowed Zubeen Garg to enter the water despite being fully aware of his condition.

Lee alleged that failure to uphold safety protocols by the captain and staff was a decisive factor in the singer's tragic death.
