  • Store in City Center Mall Caught Selling Beef

Digital Desk: A shocking incident unfolded at the City Center shopping mall in Guwahati on June 22. The controversy began when packets of noodles from a Korean company, sold at the K Food Antina shop on the mall's third floor, were found to contain beef.

Google Translate detects the presence of beef ingredients in the food products.

The situation escalated as the shop's management faced questioning regarding the matter.

Anticipating further complications, the products, along with other items containing prohibited meat ingredients, were reportedly transferred to a secret location.

Meanwhile, authorities have shut down the shop, and its management has fled the scene.

Affected customers Deepankar Das, Hirak Talukdar, and Ani Thappa have informed the Dispur police about the entire incident and are preparing to file a formal complaint against the shop.
