Digital Desk: Three teenage girls from Philoubari in Tinsukia district have reportedly become victims of human trafficking.


The missing girls, students of 7th and 8th grades, have been identified as the daughters of Montu Tanti and Monbhai Tanti from Rongpur Mesgaon, and the daughter of Ajay Shah from Borgaon, Philoubari.


Authorities suspect that a criminal network may have lured the three minors and transported them to another state.


The families of the girls have filed a formal complaint at the Philoubari Police Station, prompting the police to initiate an investigation into the matter.


Currently, there is no information regarding the individuals or group responsible for the abduction, nor their motives for targeting the three girls.
