Today, a heartfelt public tribute ceremony was held at Joysagar, Sivasagar, to honour the late singer's remarkable legacy.
On the occasion, people gathered early in the morning at Joysagar to pay their respects by offering floral tributes and lighting lamps in front of Zubeen Garg's portrait.
Additionally, Nahor tree saplings were planted in his name as a symbol of remembrance.
Alongside paying homage to Zubeen Garg, the attendees also raised their voices demanding justice.
The people of Joysagar strongly urged that the culprits be given the harshest punishment possible.
