The Satgaon police received a tip-off about the sale of drugs by two youths in Pukhuripar, Satgaon.
Digital Desk: The Guwahati police continues their active crackdown against drug trafficking activities. The Satgaon police succeeded in arresting two drug dealers during this operation. Pukhuripar resident Rahman Ali, together with Nawapara resident Rafique Khan alias Dadul faced arrest.
The police collected 10.60 grams of heroin with two mobile phones, and several empty drug containers from the two arrested drug dealers. The Satsgaon police obtained information that both Pukhuripar residents sold drugs in Satsgaon. Using their obtained information as guidance, the police launched their operation, which led to the successful arrest of the drug suppliers.
The local police registered a case at the local police station, which led to the investigation of both suspects at their station. The police are continuing their investigation as part of their ongoing effort to combat the drug trade in the region.
