Digital Desk: The Paltan Bazar Police, together with the Crime Branch, conducted a joint operation under the Ulubari flyover, which led to a major drug seizure.
The police found a massive drug stockpile worth almost ₹1 crore. The drug dealer was arrested while police also recovered cash during their operation.
The drugs were carried in three containers, fortunately, the authorities managed to stop the drug dealer, identified as Akhilesh Barma, who was allegedly involved in the city's drug trade. The police action highlights the ongoing crackdown on drug trafficking in the region.
