Digital Desk: Two notorious thieves were arrested by Basistha police, leading to the recovery of a large amount of stolen household items.
The arrested individuals have been identified as Sofiul Ali from Bilasipara and Rupson Ali from Goroimari.
A few days ago, they allegedly stole valuable utensils and gold-silver items from a house in Bhetapara.
On Friday, Basistha police successfully arrested them in Kerakuchi, Guwahati.
In addition to the stolen goods from the Bhetapara house, police also recovered items linked to thefts from other residences.
These thieves have reportedly created fear across various neighborhoods in Guwahati due to their repeated criminal activities.
