Digital Desk: The Uttar Pradesh Anti-Terror Squad apprehended six suspected ISIS agents from various sections of the state.

Rakib Inam, Naved Siddiqui, Mohammad Noman, and Mohammad Nazim have been identified as four of the six.

All of the arrested suspects are members of Students of Aligarh University (SAMU), Aligarh University's student organisation, and met through SAMU gatherings.

According to the Uttar Pradesh Anti-Terror Squad, the suspects had been preparing a big terror attack in the country.

According to the Uttar Pradesh Anti-Terror Squad, SAMU gatherings have grown into ISIS's new recruitment unit.

According to reports, Aligarh University students are also on the radar of government agencies.

During the interrogation of Rizwan and Shahnawaz, the accused arrested by the National Investigation Agency (NIA) in the Pune Islamic State (ISIS) module case, revealed that many Aligarh Muslim University students are spreading an anti-national agenda on social media and are linked to ISIS's pan-India network.

UP ATS has detained six persons so far after questioning Rizwan and Shahnawaz.
