Digital Desk: The upcoming 48 hours are crucial as Cyclone  Dana is predicted to intensify and stuck areas of North Odisha and West Bengal coasts by 24 October night. People are cautioned about the upcoming situation and certain precautionary measures are taken.

The India Meteorological Department (IMD) warns about the upcoming furious winds along with the heavy rainfall, mainly predicted towards the northern wards.  The South Eastern and Eastern Railways have canceled more than 150 trains for the upcoming two days.

The Chief Ministers of the respective states are taking the necessary action to prevent any kind of danger. In Kolkata, the schools will remain closed from October 23 to 26 in seven districts. In Odisha,  relief items like food, drinking water, health, etc are arranged and more than 10 lakh people are to be shifted to relief camps from 14 districts.
