Digital Desk: Kailash Kalita, a young man from Uttar Barsiral village in the Tamulpur district, tragically passed away just days after travelling to Andhra Pradesh in search of employment.

The son of the late Aniram Kalita, Kailash had boarded a flight from Guwahati on Saturday afternoon.

Upon reaching his destination, he remained in regular contact with his family, even sharing photos via WhatsApp.

However, communication abruptly ceased on Monday.

The family's worst fears were confirmed on Tuesday night when the Barama Police Station delivered news of his death.

The sudden demise has cast a shadow of grief over the entire village.

Struggling with severe financial hardship, the bereaved family has reached out to Tamulpur MLA Biswajit Daimary and Chief Minister Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma, requesting urgent assistance to bring the youth's body back home for the final rites.
