"The thing we love the most, we should keep it hidden" : Siddhant Chaturvedi
Digital Desk: Siddhant Chaturvedi has revealed that he is not married. The actor revealed that he is in a relationship but want to keep it private since “the thing we love the most, we should keep it hidden".

Siddhant remarked of his partner in an interview with Bollywood Bubble, "I like simple things. I am very shy, I don't like PDA and I may not be able to hold her hand in public".

Elaborating on his relationship he added, "Showing it in front of the world is not my piece of cake. I like coming back home, watching something, playing my FIFA games, travelling. I am luckiest guy in the world. When you see the world together, experiencing things first hand, is a game changer.

Siddhant also informed the newspaper that he deflects queries about his relationship so that no one bothers him. "I prefer to have a little mystique about it."

Following Gehraiyaan, Siddhant Chaturvedi is preparing for Phone Bhoot, in which he will co-star with Katrina Kaif and Ishaan Khatter.

Previously, actor Siddhant Chaturvedi has responded to trolls who demanded that he and Deepika Padukone obtain "permission" from Ranveer Singh before agreeing to perform intimate scenes in Gehraiyaan. In a recent interview, Siddhant stated that the comments did not disturb him. Gully Boy, in which he co-starred alongside Ranveer Singh, was the actor's feature film debut.

Siddhant told Bollywood Bubble that statements implying he and Deepika required Ranveer's permission did not enrage him and clarified his views. "It doesn't truly (annoy him), because we are experts, and we know our equation," he explained. Ranveer Singh visited Goa for a few days during the filming of this film. "We relaxed and partied. In fact, when I signed the contract for the picture, he was the first person I phoned, and he was overjoyed. He's basically been showering me with love since Gully Boy, and he's my life guru, so it was OK. Deepika is a skilled professional. What can one do when people say such things? kya kar sakte hai (what can one do)? Hum toh apna kaam kar rahe hai (We are just doing our job).”

Deepika Padukone's Alisha had an affair with Siddhant Chaturvedi's Zain in Shakun Batra's Gehraiyaan. Siddhant went on to say that he and Deepika were merely following director Shakun Batra's idea, and that intimacy director Dar Gai's direction made their job easier. "I think we executed it in the most graceful way, with an intimate director Dar (Gai) coming on board," he remarked. "It took some time for me to get used to it as well, but it was crucial because it wasn't meant to be shocking. It was a scene from the movie. Now that you've seen the movie, you realise it's not forced in any way. It's there because it's important to the plot."
