Salman Khan intends to develop a 19-storey hotel in an outstanding location in Mumbai...

Digital Desk: According to the Times of India, Salman Khan intends to construct a 19-storey hotel at an ideal location in Mumbai. The BMC has authorised proposals for a hotel on the actor's mother, Salma Khan's, sea-facing Carter Road site.

Salman Khan's family is only one of several Bollywood families who have made significant investments in real estate. Reportedly, Salim Khan, the actor's father, stated in 2011 that he buys houses "all the time" for his family, including his son Salman.

The land that originally housed the residential Starlet Cooperative Housing Society has been cleared for a 19-story hotel. The Khan family is thought to have planned to convert it into a residential building but has since altered their mind.

The Khans' architect business, Sapre & Associates, filed amended plans for a "commercial centrally air-conditioned building with a height of 69.90 metres."

According to the designs, the first and second floors of the 19-storey skyscraper will include a café and a restaurant. The third floor will house a gym and a swimming pool, the fourth will be a service floor, and the fifth and sixth floors will house a convention centre. According to the Times of India reports the hotel will be located on floors seven through nineteenth.

Salman Khan was said to have leased a flat in Bandra West, Mumbai, for a monthly fee of roughly Rs 1.5 lakh in April of this year. The actor also owns the house where he resides in Galaxy Apartments, as well as a farmhouse near Pavel and a beach property in Gorai.
