Digital Desk: Toyota has announced that it will work in partnership with Suzuki to introduce a small SUV to the Indian market. The new Toyota compact SUV, which will debut in India on July 1, the photos of the SUV have already been circulated, but this is the first time the manufacturer has teased the vehicle.
The compact SUV, which Toyota hasn't officially confirmed will be called the Hyryder, is what you'd anticipate a high-riding SUV to look like. Only the front of the car is visible in the teaser image, which allows us to see the design more clearly.
The split headlamp design that has become popular on many of today's SUVs has been adopted by the Hyryder. A thick chrome bar extending toward the center of the Toyota logo sits between the LED daytime running lamps on either side of the grille up top. A prominent central air dam and a faux skid plate element are flanked by the main headlamp unit, which is located lower on the front bumper.
