The deceased SI Junmoni Rabha's elder brother had been suffering from kidney issues...
Digital Desk: Junmoni Rabha the late Morikolong sub-inspector (SI) in Assam, her elder brother, passed away in Guwahati On Tuesday.
Initial reports state that at about 6:40 p.m. today, Junmoni Rabha's brother perished at the Gauhati Medical College and Hospital (GMCH).
The dead SI Junmoni Rabha's older brother, Karuna Rabha, had been receiving treatment at GMCH for kidney-related conditions for a while.
He had been treated at GMCH since being admitted almost 20 days ago, but today, doctors announced that he had passed away.
Meanwhile, his body is expected to be moved from GMCH to their apartment at Dakhin Gaon in the Guwahati neighbourhood of Kahilipara.
Doctors reported that, in addition to kidney problems, Karuna Rabha was suffering from several other diseases. The family was unable to arrange for better treatment for him due to a lack of financial resources.
Reportedly, Rabha was being treated at Health City Hospital prior to being admitted to GMCH. However, due to financial constraints, the family chose to move him to GMCH for subsidised treatment.
