Two other people, one of them a lady, were admitted to the hospital. When no one from the house turned up in the afternoon, the neighbors were suspicious.

When the neighbors went to look into it, they found the family members unconscious inside the room. A group of people were brought to a government hospital after someone contacted emergency number 108.

One child died on the way to the hospital while four others succumbed to their injuries in the hospital. 

Later, the woman had been referred to a different hospital.
Following being notified, the police started an investigation.
