Tumi Gangkak found hanging on Friday in the Ganga Lake area, along the Jote-Poma route...

Digital Desk: The situation worsens in Itanagar, as people protested over Tumi Gangkak, a former Arunachal Pradesh Public Service Commission (APPSC) undersecretary death, he was found hanging on Friday at the Ganga Lake area, along the Jote-Poma road. A heated situation was witnessed in front of APPSC's office.

According to police sources, his corpse was found hanging, with his wrists and Achilles tendons of both legs sliced. The police have not stated whether or not there was any criminal activity. 

Reportedly in the recent updates, The family of Tumi Gangkak and party organisations are preparing for the last rites outside the public service commission office.

It is to be mentioned that the post-mortem examination has been conducted and the post-mortem report will be released on Monday.

The deceased's bereaved family has not yet cremated the body because they want the criminal arrested. 

Two police officers are suspected linked to Gangkak's murder case.

However, now the question arises as to why CCTV malfunctioned yesterday in the ever-active poma area.  In addition, Itanagar police were forced to register the murder case under Section 302. Two police officers are on the verge of a verified arrest.

Short brief of the murder case of Tumi Gangkak:  

Gangkak had been suspended in connection with the APPSC paper leak scandal and had been summoned here twice by the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI). The CBI is said to have summoned Gangkak on Thursday afternoon. On the same evening, he went missing. 

Late Gangkak declared his innocence and claimed to have never participated in the scam in an unconfirmed WhatsApp group communication screenshot. Gangkak allegedly stated that he was singled out because he was the assistant controller of examinations.

Gangkak's most recent message to the WhatsApp group was sent at about 4:58 p.m. The CBI summoned him at 3:30 pm, and he went missing around 4:30 pm, with his phone turned off. 

The death of the former undersecretary has worsened the APPSC paper leak scam. The scandal has already shaken the state's primary recruitment organisation.
