Manish Sisodia urged that the 'agreement' between the two parties be made public.

Digital Desk: The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leaders met with their counterparts from the All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen (AIMIM) in Ahmedabad on Wednesday and allegedly discussed a chemically enhanced primary treatment (CEPT) project.

The closed-door meeting did not remain secret for long, and it quickly became the talk of the town, with the Aam Aadmi Party voicing concerns about it.

On Wednesday evening, Ahmedabad Mayor Kirit Parmar, the city in charge and BJP state co-treasurer Dharmendra Shah, and other leaders met with AIMIM state unit president Sabir Kabliwala and other politicians.

"The meeting was placed in the Danilimda treatment facility, not at the AIMIM headquarters," Parmar subsequently explained. The conference was called to examine how to expedite the completion of the Rs 166 crore treatment plant project. There were any political debates."

AIMIM state unit president Kabliwala also said that they mainly talked about the treatment plant.

Meanwhile, in a tweet, top AAP leader and Deputy Chief Minister of Delhi Manish Sisodia questioned the purpose of the meeting and urged that specifics regarding the 'agreement' between the two parties be shared.
