The two actors are reuniting several years after working together on the Munnabhai series. With the latest announcement keeping the title and details under wraps, many fans assumed the duo was returning for the film's third installment.

The first look was shared on social media on Thursday afternoon by Dutt's production house, Three Dimension Motion Pictures. The poster shows Dutt and Warsi standing in a lock-up behind bars, wearing prison clothes. They have pensive expressions on their faces as they look into the camera. The poster indicates that the film is a comedy, although no title has been announced yet. The film will be directed by Siddhant Sachdev and release in theatres later this year.

Reacting to the poster, one fan wrote, "Laurel Hardy of Indian films. Both make inspirational hilarious acts." "Everyone thinking this is Munnabhai but they would announce the title if it was," another user commented. while, another user commented, "For a moment I thought this is Munnabhai 3 announcement."

Munnabhai MBBS, directed by Rajkumar Hirani, was a box-office success in 2003. In 2006, Dutt and Warsi reprise their roles as Munna and Circuit in the sequel, "Lage Raho Munnabhai."  It was also a commercial hit. A third film, Munnabhai Chale America, was announced a few years later but never got off the ground. Meanwhile, there have been attempts to revive the series.

The new project, however, may or may not be related to Munnabhai. According to the information received, the film is a new story that will focus on the two actors' comic timing and chemistry.
