New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will invite Indian Olympic Players to Red Fort on the occasion of the 15th August celebrations as special guests when he will deliver his Independence Day speech.


PM Modi will also invite them to his residence as per the source on the same day.
PM Modi has been following the Olympics closely and has been encouraging the players. He even spoke to a few of the players while uplifting their spirits.


The Tokyo Olympics 2020 began on 23rd July 2021 and will end on 8th August 2021.

It has been speculated that PM Modi might also invite the Tokyo Olympic contingent to his official residence for dinner.
