Digital Desk: According to agency sources, the Central Crime Branch of Bengaluru has detained a radicalized youth suspected of having ties to several terrorist organizations and has also taken his companions into custody for questioning.

According to the reports, Akhtar Hussain Lashkar, an Assamese native, was detained on Sunday night while residing with a few food delivery workers on the third floor of a multi-story apartment in Tilak Nagar.

He has been charged with violating several provisions of the Indian Penal Code, including one for waging war against the Indian government.

According to the CCB sources, Lashkar had escaped to north India and was hiding out in the city. They claimed there was a current interrogation and further information might emerge.

Araga Jnanendra, the home minister for Karnataka, praised the state police for their actions and stated that local Lashkar allies are now being interrogated.
