The president of the Assam Pradesh Congress Committee (APCC), Bhupen Kumar Borah, expressed his extreme unhappiness at their unexpected behaviour and for breaking party rules inside the Rajiv Bhawan today after the event.

The head of the APCC also expressed worry about the incident being adversely portrayed in the media.

The show cause notice reads. “As Directed by the President of the APCC Bhupen Kumar Borah, you are hereby asked to submit explanatory reply to the president as to why not disciplinary action be taken against you within three days.”
