The cub was being fed goat milk because it was unable to consume its mother's food...

Digital Desk: A zoo official said on Thursday that a cub born last week to a white tigress at Siddharth Zoo in Maharashtra's Aurangabad district died of kidney failure.

On September 7, Tigress Arpita gave birth to three cubs in the zoo.

One of the cubs was sickly from the start. According to the official, the cub was being fed goat milk because it was unable to consume its mother's food.

He also stated that some swelling had been seen in the cub's abdomen area and that it was being addressed.

The cub did not respond to therapy and died on Wednesday, according to the official, who added that physicians at the zoo performed an autopsy.

According to the primary report, the cub died of kidney failure, he explained.

Reportedly the authority stated the other two cubs were fine.
