Digital Desk: Tollywood superstar Vijay Deverakonda recently surprised everyone by announcing the most important decision of his life. The star has promised to donate all of his organs. Isn't it impressive? At a medical event, the 'Liger' actor talked openly about the same and urged others to do that.

Not only Vijay Deverakonda, but even his mother, has joined him in this great cause. While encouraging people to donate organs, Vijay said,  "I guess I will donate all my organs. If it could be a part of someone else after me and improve their lives, that would be wonderful. I don't see sense in wasting my organs. I keep myself fit and healthy... My mother and I have both registered to be organ donors. It's such a great thing that you're still alive in some way due to your kindness."

Vijay Deverakonda believes that organ donation in South Asian countries is quite low. The Liger actor stated,  "Doctors tell me that many surgeries happen only because of donors. It's amazing how many people give of themselves emotionally to help others. It's a lovely thing. At the same time, they (doctors) were discussing how South Asian countries have lower rates of organ donation."

Meanwhile, Vijay Deverakonda's decision has thrilled Twitterati, who have begun appreciating the actor on Twitter. "Man with pure heart ❤❤ #VijayDeverakonda," one user wrote. "More respect and love to you Vijay," another user wrote.

Speaking of Vijay Deverakonda, he will next be seen with Samantha Ruth Prabhu in the movie Kushi. His previous film, Liger, was a box office flop.
