1. Mr India: For most 90's and 80's kids, the title of this film is a source of nostalgia! One of the very first superhero movies produced in the 1980s, the movie was released in 1987. The Shekhar Kapur-directed movie is hailed as one of Sridevi's best. Boney Kapoor and Surinder Kapoor collaborated to produce it under the former's company, Narsimha Enterprises. In the movie, Sridevi played the role of a perky, jovial news reporter.

2. English Vinglish: This movie, which marked Sridevi's comeback to the big screen after a 15-year hiatus, received overwhelmingly positive reviews from both reviewers and viewers. She garnered a lot of admirers with her role of a mild-mannered, quiet housewife who attended English classes in the US after getting into minor arguments with her husband and children over her inability to speak English. 

3. Mom: This was Sridevi's last film before her death in 2018. This was also her 300th film. At the 65th National Film Awards, the movie won two prizes. Sridevi portrayed a strong mother in the movie who seeks revenge when her daughter is sexually abused.

4. Judaai: This great cult film featured a unique storyline that wowed many viewers! Sridevi portrayed a selfish wife who sold her husband to get money from another lady but later came to regret it. Sridevi's supporters consider the film to be one of her best works, particularly the way the character is depicted.

5. Chandni: Chandni was a top grossing movie in 1989. The same year, the film took home the National Award for "Best Popular Film." The film also made Sridevi the biggest female star of the 1980s. Vinod Khanna and Rishi Kapoor were also featured in "Chandni."
